Sr. Programmer Analyst Memphis, TN
ServiceMaster Clean 3/04 - Present |
-
Designed, wrote and implemented a Fee Management portal for ServiceMaster Clean
franchises. This allows franchises to report earnings online, saving the time
and resources of paper reporting. It also decreased reporting errors by
removing redundant copying of the paper reports. Also worked closely with
management while gathering requirements for the project.
-
The portal was created using the ASP.NET portal starter kit in C#.
-
Utilized technologies such as multi-threading, asynchronous calls, Reflection
and .NET Enterprise Services.
-
Used MCAD skills to help other developers with their projects.

Sr. Applications Developer Memphis, TN
Rapsheets.com 6/02 - 1/04 |
-
Created Rapsheets' flagship product, RapFinity. This is an enterprise level XML
Criminal Record Search Engine written in C#. It is a distributed .NET solution
deployed across multiple servers. Parts of the search included querying of SOAP
and XML services and aggregating the results against Rapsheets' data. Used XSLT
to format query results to customer specifications. Utilized Filter, Service,
Broker and Factory patterns in the architecture of the solution.
-
Produced SQL Server DTS Packages to import sparse data. This data varied widely
in format, including binary, xml, and delimited text.
-
Wrote C# application to programmatically extract data from web pages across
many web sites. Used .NET classes to automate the querying of many web sites
and extract criminal records. The data was extracted from HTML with Regular
Expressions.
-
Converted existing applications to C# and ASP.NET. Original applications
spanned hundreds of VBScript Active Server Pages. These pages were reverse
engineered and replaced with C# Assemblies and .NET web pages.
-
Improved overall performance, error handling, error reporting and documentation
of existing applications. Used Windows Management Interface with .NET to create
real-time report generation of server status and error information in the event
of an application or hardware failure.
-
Installed and administrated Exchange Server 2000. Also helped migrate mail
accounts from IMail to Exchange 2000.
-
Implemented source control for all projects using Microsoft SourceSafe. Trained
developers on source control practices and integration.
